Triple R Horse Rescue Hosts First Annual Hope for Horses Gala

For Immediate Release

CAVE CREEK, AZ, October 22, 2013 – On Saturday, October 19, Triple R Horse Rescue, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home horses in need, hosted its first annual Hope for Horses Gala at Carefree Resort and Conference Center. This year's event brought together over 300 guests from the rescue's surrounding community of supporters for an exciting evening, which included musical entertainment and live and silent auctions, and raised more than $20,000 to help the rescue continue its mission. Andi Barness formerly the host of Sonoran Living on ABC 15, now with Adventures in Andiland, emceed the event.

"We are overwhelmed with the response we received for this first time event and cannot thank our community enough for the support they have shown us", said Ken Bacher, President of Triple R Horse Rescue.

This year's event featured close to 100 silent and 12 live auction items. Perhaps the most unique auction item of the evening was a batch of homemade pies that went for $250!

The first annual Hope for Horses Gala was made possible by the following sponsors: Anthony and Michele Zuiker, The Document House, Big Bronco Home Furnishings, Turn West Design and Beckham Dental.
