Annie came to the rescue years ago and was adopted.  When the young lady who adopted her went off to college she didn't want Annie just sitting around and returned her to the rescue.  Annie spent some time with the ASU Equistrian Team before being adopted again by JaNae Jackman.

"The first time we saw her I thought we were going to look at a white horse and my mom said as we pulled up 'Man look at that beautiful horse! That's the kind of horse I want!' Well ... apparently that was the one we went to look at. We watched her work for a while and test rode her. When mom got off Annie put her head down into her arms, mom started crying, and now she's with us! 16 hands and amazing!"  ~ JaNae Jackman

Sophie was originally named Star when she was rescued by Hoofprints of the Heart in Marana, Arizona.  Sophie went to a foster home, the owners fell in love  with her and decided to adopt her.  They renamed their sweet filly Sophie, after seeing her impish personality.

"Sophie is sweet, willing, very athletic and has the softest eyes.  I’m so  happy to have found her and look forward to training and helping her to become a happy adult.  Sophie is always the center of attention when I walk her in the neighborhood, her personality shines through.  She enjoys all the attention and likes when the neighbors stop by to visit her."

Tumbler was in foster care when Tia Churchill found him.  Tia admits that it was love at first sight.  It must have been for Tumbler too because Tia says he would do silly things to get her attention.  Tia decided that Tumbler needed a permanent home and the rest is history!

"His bright personality and hilarious quirks keep me laughing constantly. He is a wonderful companion and I am so lucky he picked me!"  ~ Tia Churchill

In the past two week, 6 Triple R horses have found their forever homes!

It it wonderful to announce the adoption of Star by Tom and Claudia Peters.  They have renamed their sweet filly Sophie.  Sophie was rescued by Hoofprints of the Heart, and brought to Triple R where Tom and Claudia found her.  They and are looking forward to showing her off at Wild West Days in Cave Creek this fall, so keep an eye out for them.

On Friday, July 13, Triple R Horse Rescue president, Ken Bacher, and his horse visited Children's Choice Learning Center in Mesa, Arizona.

It was a great opportunity to bring awareness to Triple R and to educate the children about horses. The visit was a huge success and the children had a wonderful experience.
